Understanding Your Bookings

How to view, manage, and track your upcoming and past lessons.

Your Bookings page is your central hub for managing all your lessons on Tutorverse — whether you're a student or a tutor.

Viewing Your Bookings

Navigate to Bookings from the main menu to see all your lessons organised by status:

  • Upcoming: Confirmed lessons that are scheduled for the future.
  • Completed: Past lessons that have concluded successfully.
  • Cancelled: Lessons that were cancelled by either party.
  • Disputed: Lessons currently under review by our team.

Booking Details

Click on any booking to see the full details, including:

  • Lesson title and subject.
  • Tutor or student name (depending on your role).
  • Date, time, and duration of the session.
  • Booking reference (e.g., B-H9F2X1) — useful for support enquiries.
  • Payment amount and current status.

For Students

  • You can cancel an upcoming booking from this page (subject to the Cancellation Policy).
  • After a lesson concludes, you can raise a dispute if there was an issue (see Dispute Resolution).
  • Use the Messages icon to communicate with your tutor before or after the lesson.

For Tutors

  • View your full teaching schedule at a glance.
  • Track which lessons have been settled (paid out) and which are still pending.
  • Access lesson details to prepare for upcoming sessions.

Booking Statuses Explained

StatusWhat It Means
PendingPayment is being processed. The booking will be confirmed automatically once payment succeeds.
ConfirmedPayment received. The lesson is locked in and both parties have been notified.
CompletedThe lesson has ended. Settlement will process automatically.
CancelledThe booking was cancelled. Refund or compensation has been applied.
DisputedThe lesson is under review. Funds are on hold until resolution.
ExpiredPayment was not completed within the 15-minute window. The time slot has been released.
