Tutorverse provides a seamless way for tutors to receive payment for their services. All earned funds from completed lessons are automatically credited to your Tutor Wallet.
How Earnings Work
After each lesson is completed, the platform's automated settlement engine processes your payout. Funds typically appear in your wallet within 24 hours of the lesson ending. You'll receive an email summary of your daily earnings.
How to Withdraw
To transfer your wallet balance to your bank account:
- Ensure your bank account is linked in your Wallet Settings (see Adding a Bank Account).
- Go to the Wallet tab on your Tutor Dashboard.
- Click the Withdraw button and enter the amount you'd like to withdraw.
- Confirm the transaction.
Withdrawal Fees
A small processing fee of R3.00 is applied to each withdrawal to cover bank transfer costs. This fee is deducted automatically from your withdrawal amount.
Payout Timelines
Once you initiate a withdrawal, processing usually takes 1–3 business days depending on your bank. Your transaction will show as Pending in your transaction history until the transfer is confirmed.
What If a Withdrawal Fails?
In the rare event that a bank transfer fails (e.g., incorrect bank details), your funds are automatically returned to your Tutorverse wallet. You'll receive an email notification explaining the issue so you can correct your details and try again.
Minimum Withdrawal
The minimum withdrawal amount is R50.00. Ensure your available balance (after the R3.00 fee) meets this threshold before requesting a withdrawal.
