Adding a Bank Account

How to set up your payout method to receive your tutoring earnings.

Before you can withdraw your earnings from Tutorverse, you need to link a South African bank account to your tutor profile. This is a one-time setup and can be updated at any time.

How to Add Your Bank Details

  1. Go to your Tutor Dashboard → Wallet.
  2. Click on Add Bank Account.
  3. Fill in the following details:
    • Bank Name: Select your bank from the dropdown list.
    • Account Number: Enter your full bank account number.
    • Account Holder Name: This must match the name on your bank account exactly.
    • Account Type: Choose between Current or Savings.

Supported Banks

We support all major South African banks through our payment partner, Paystack, including:

  • ABSA
  • Capitec
  • FNB (First National Bank)
  • Nedbank
  • Standard Bank
  • Investec
  • TymeBank
  • Discovery Bank
  • African Bank

Changing Your Bank Account

If you need to update your banking details, navigate to Wallet → Bank Account and update the relevant fields. For security, changes may require re-verification.

Security

Your bank details are encrypted and stored securely. They are only used for processing your withdrawal requests. We will never share your financial information with third parties.
