Tutorverse sends automated notifications to help you stay on top of your tutoring schedule. Here's how the reminder system works.
Types of Notifications

| Booking Confirmation | Immediately after payment | Student and Tutor |
| Starting Soon | 1 hour before the lesson | Student and Tutor |
| Tomorrow's Schedule | 8:00 PM the evening before | Student and Tutor |
| Daily Earnings Summary | Daily (after payout) | Tutor only |
| Cancellation Notice | Immediately after cancellation | Student and Tutor |
Managing Your Notification Preferences
You can customise which notifications you receive:
- Go to Account → Settings → Notifications.
- Toggle the categories you'd like to receive or mute:
- Lesson Updates: Booking confirmations and cancellations.
- Lesson Reminders: "Starting Soon" and daily schedule summaries.
- Direct Messages: New message alerts.
Email Delivery
All notifications are currently delivered via email. Make sure your registered email address is correct and that emails from Tutorverse are not being filtered into spam.

If you missed a reminder, you can always check your upcoming lessons by visiting the Bookings page on your dashboard.
